Bio: The patient is a 67-year-old woman from Ulster County, NY, who lives an active and healthy lifestyle. She had endured painful bunions for more than six years. Orthotics, specialty shoes, and medications brought no relief, and she wasn’t willing to undergo traditional surgery as it is too invasive with too much recovery time.
