Bio: The patient is a 63-year-old woman who is a long-term bunion sufferer with a hammer toe as a result of her bunion.
Procedure: In order to correct the bunion and hammer toe in one procedure, Dr. Geldwert used a minimally invasive combined approach with HyperFlex®️, bone resection, and a SmartToe implant on the second digit.
Result: The patient was immediately weight-bearing in a protective shoe. She reported no complications and proper alignment has been maintained.
